I think 111 is a pretty lucky number. I read that it is the smallest repunit composite number. I also heard it is the smallest palindromic number such that the sum of its digits is one of its prime factors. Did you know a six-by-six magic square using the numbers 1 through 36 has a magic constant of 111? Let’s not forget that Mr Bilbo Baggins was Eleventy-one in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. Speaking of Bilbo, his wise words have never been more true.

“It’s a dangerous business, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no telling where you might be swept off to.”

But most importantly, 111 is the number of pages, including letter and supporting documents, in the Application for Authorization to Stay that we sent to the Department of Justice yesterday!
